Premium Destination Events are more popular than ever.  Most athletes have worn out their “local” circuit of triathlon and cycling races and are looking to expand their choices to interesting parts of the country or the world. 

A Destination Event is best described as any triathlon or cycling event that requires more than a seven-hour drive.  Time is a luxury nowadays, especially for active athletes - and spending that time driving to and from your event is probably not how you envisioned burning those valuable vacation days.

The feedback that we hear most often from our customers, is that they want to stack as many activities as they can around their triathlon or cycling event.

Golf, hiking, scuba diving, fishing - all are the perfect pre and post race activities to fill those gaps.  It's now easier than ever to transport your bike and athletic gear to any location in the world. 

OK, so let's start with the most important item - Your bike.

Your bike is easily the most important component on the day of your event.  You can replace goggles and shoes - but if your bike does not arrive in "Race-Ready" condition, it's going to be a long, long day.

However, lugging it through the airport can be a major pain (TSA), and nobody wants to assemble and disassemble their bike four separate times for an event anymore.  It's not surprising that a recent survey indicated that 93% of athletes prefer "Direct Location" transport, rather than dealing with the hassle of transporting it themselves.

So what are the transport options with Raceday Transport?

We can handle everything! Raceday Transport is the Official transport provider for USA Triathlon and Team USA!  We have partnered with 150+ bike shop locations and over 3000 UPS drop points nationwide, to offer our customers a seemless and cost effective way to transport your bike and sports gear. 

These options include:

Fully-Assembled Transport – Our most popular option.  No bike disassembly required.  Just drop it off at an activated bike shop partner and our team will take it from there.  By utilizing our exclusive VitalCare® Protection Wrap, you can rest assured that your bike will not be bouncing across the country with a light moving blanket for defense.

               

If Raceday Transport activates a selected region from our 10 Regional locations nationwide, we will also activate selected bike drop locations along this route.  In an effort to accommodate as many athletes as possible, we select certain bike drop locations based on purchases and requests.

Box and Ship Option –Box/Ship bike transport is for any customer outside of these route zones including international athletes.  We ship A LOT of packages.  As a result, we have negotiated deep discounts and pricing power - up to 60% off of published rates from FedEx, UPS and USPO - which we pass on to our customers.

Your Bike’s Destination

You can choose many options on where to ship and receive your bike.  Feel comfortable building it yourself?  Have it shipped directly to your hotel.  Do you want it assembled and delivered to the event?  You can choose to have it shipped to the event’s designated bike shop or directly to our tent and we’ll have it assembled and waiting for you.
